Today, we try to estimate distribution and abundance of Mangrove along Bogowonto Lagoon. This mangrove ecosystem form riverine mangrove ecosystem which is dominated by Rhizopora sp and Avicennia sp towards the rivermouth. Furthermore, we want to estimate mangrove area size from (2000-2014) using satellite imageries. This research very important since mangrove ecosystem in this area were suffered from several disturbance, mostly by physical condition (stagnant water) and human activities. Hence, data trends from year to year are critically important to evaluate mangrove restoration program which was rapidly increase since 2007.
